Ogunquit Beach and
Wells Beach
Southern Maine’s premiere white sand beaches are set on a sandy peninsula with grassy dunes between the Atlantic Ocean and Ogunquit River. These beautiful beaches are just right for whale watching, learning to surf, or taking a cocktail cruise and they are only three miles away. Let’s go!
Marginal Way
Walk the 1.25 mile paved cliff path in nearby Ogunquit to see the lighthouse, sailboats, and gorgeous ocean views. Plenty of benches to relax and take pictures. Bring home a lobster or two for dinner.
Mount Agamenticus
Mount ‘A’ is a 692 foot high ‘monadnock’ (very large stone hill) in the town of Cape Neddick. Just 11 miles from Pinederosa, the mountain’s unique coastal forest supports the highest diversity of animal and plant species in all of Maine. Perfect for hiking and biking. Some trails are open to ATVs and horseback riding.
Rachel Carson National
Wildlife Refuge
The refuge was established to protect valuable salt marshes and estuaries for migratory birds. Visitors can connect with nature and enjoy wildlife viewing year-around.
Cape Neddick Golf Course
Check out “Maine’s Most Welcoming Golf Course”. A beautifully designed course along the southern shore of Maine.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park

First Chance Whale Watch

Ogunquit Museum of American Art
A showcase for American contemporary and modern art, from the late 1800s to the present. See the collected works of Marsden Hartley, Jacob Lawrence, Walt Kuhn and many others of national and international acclaim. Visit the seaside sculpture park, take a tour, and find that special ‘something’ at the gift shop.
Ogunquit Playhouse
The Ogunquit Playhouse is one of the last remaining summer theatres from the Straw Hat Circuit, also referred to as Summer Stock, still producing live musical theatre. The theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Perkins Cove Drawbridge
The historic draw footbridge in nearby Perkins Cove may be the last of its kind in the United States. Operation of the drawbridge is the duty of the harbormaster, but if he is not on hand, any available fisherman can push the button to raise the bridge. Children sometime swarm the bridge, hoping to have the honor. Visit Perkins Cove Drawbridge for great views of the harbor, the ocean, and sail boats.
